I like the part where this demoralizing method of tracking progress does not yet include management tools. To start with, salespeople can just do this to themselves.
There’s nothing necessarily wrong with the ad, it actually has a good amount of detail. It’s just that I feel like part of my soul has been destroyed just by reading it.
I guess I’m just not a salesperson.

I am looking for someone who can build me a website that will track the prospecting/marketing activities of a sales person. The user will be able to login to the website each day and there will be a list of pre-set daily activities/goals for the sales person. Each activity will be assigned a value. All values will start out as a negative for the day and when the user completes the activity and marks the activity as complete the value for the activity turns positive. At the end of the day the system adds and subtracts the value for each activity and the user gets a final number for the day.
The program will track the daily activities of a sales person via a graph. If the sales person does not do there activities and they get a negative value there graph will go down, if they get do most of their activities and they get a positive value there graph will go up (similar to a stock chart). The idea is that the graph should always go up and the sales person can easily see via graph when they are slacking and not doing enough prospecting/marketing activities.
Essentially, instead of a CRM that tracks sales and is a database manager I want to create a website that tracks prospecting activities on a daily basis and shows progress via a line graph.
The program should be able to have multiple logins/passwords so that it allows for multiple users. I want everything to be web based so the user does not have to download anything to their computer.
I want to be able to charge monthly fees for the use of the website. I also eventually want to turn the program into a management tool so that a manager can have a ‘manager’ login and under him there would be multiple ‘user’ login and passwords. The manager’s graph would be a graph of all of his sales peoples data (graphs) so he could easily and quickly see which of his sales people are doing their daily prospecting/marketing activities and which aren’t.
If you can build this for me please email me so we can discuss how much this might cost. I am also looking for someone who can help me get to the top of google/yahoo searches when someone searches for sales tools, etc. It would be great if you could email me and let me know if you can help me with both the website development AND with directing traffic to the website or if you just do one or the other. Also, if you could give me an estimate range of how much something like this would cost at startup and on a continuing basis to maintain that would be helpful. Also, how long it would take to create. Thanks.

I have the most revolutionary concept for a website since google. You must be able to build a site where users have their own profiles. The profile will include a database of information based on interactions that they have with other users. The site needs to be able to track people through google maps. Think Facebook meets craigslists, with a hint of ebay, and monster.com.
